Your Body, His Temple

A ministry devoted to honoring the Lord with our bodies.

 

Purpose:

To create a place for people to come and work out together, and to provide support and motivation to live a healthy lifestyle.  I truly believe that the body is the temple of the Lord, and that it is not our own, and that we should honor the Lord with our bodies.  By learning how to keep our bodies healthy and strong, we will be equipped (physically, at least) to do His work.

 

-Saturdays:  1pm Intermediate / 2pm Advanced

-Liability waiver form must be completed before the first session.  Click here to download.

-You must be in good health and able to do strenuous exercise.  This is an intermediate to advanced class.

-We will be working out to dvd's and may sometimes have live instructors.

-Please wear good, stable shoes, and bring a water bottle, towel, and yoga mat.

Ground Rules :

  1. Do your best!!!

  2. Respect others
  3. Commit to working out at least three times a week on your own.
  4. Commit to encouraging and supporting at least one other member of the group.
  5. Speak only words of encouragement while in class.
  6. Do not focus on what your body looks like, focus on what it can do!
