ARCHITECT FOR HCC SELECTED  After interviewing 4 architects, our English & Japanese Board of Deacons and our joint Board of Trustees have selected Russell Ito for our church renewal.  Russell comes to us with much experience working with other churches. 

ALL CHURCH CLEAN UP  Saturday, 9/20/08 from 8am to pau!  Looking for workers to clean God’s house, for He is worthy!  Sign up at the Friendship Table to help clean or to be part of the potluck “nourishment” team!  For more info. call our church administrator Don Hirata at 973-4307.     

NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL YEAR  begins today.  A list of all classes offered and the room locations are available at the Friendship Table and in the Social Hall at the bottom of the stairway.

TNT CHILDREN’S CHURCH  resumes on Sunday, 9/7.   

NO PARKING ON WALU WAY PLEASE!  As we strive to be good neighbors and witnesses of Christ, we need to demonstrate great care and consideration for those who live near us and utilize Walu Way.  Please do not park ANYTIME on the grassy area on the makai side of our social hall.  It can create a traffic hazard and an inconvenience to our neighbors.

FRIENDSHIP TABLE MANPOWER NEEDED  Encourage newcomers with hospitality and provide information about church programs and activities for our church family.  Sign up at the Friendship Table to serve or call Linda Hirai at 943-1750.
